It requires a high level of humidity in order to form attractive pitchers. Nepenthes adnata should be grown in a well-drained pot and watered with rain water or distilled water. It needs to be sprayed regularly so that water remains in its pitchers. For the best results, it needs plenty of light but it should not be exposed to direct sunlight. The ideal growing medium is neutral to slightly acidic peat. If the plant becomes too big, it can be pruned.
