Philodendron species 'Mini'

Philodendron species ‘Mini’ is native to the tropics of Colombia. Philodendron species ‘Mini’ won’t grow considerable big leaves, but it is a fast grower. The plant quickly forms roots on its newly formed foothills. This also why it is a nice plant for in your terrarium, while it can quickly cover the walls of your terrarium. Due to its quick root formation, it is a rather easy plant to propagate yourself. When Philodendron species ‘Mini’ is kept in a terrarium it won’t flower. Philodendron species ‘Mini’ is a sturdy plant but it like other Philodendrons it is best kept in indirect bright light to prevent damage by bright direct sunlight. Philodendron species ‘Mini’ thrives with temperatures between 18°C -30°C. The plants also prefers a high air humidity like in terrarium environment. It is important that its soil is kept moist but never gets drenched. Araflora therefore provides Philodendron species ‘Mini’ with a well-draining soil. Regular houseplant fertilizer can be used, but don’t overdo it while the plant does not like too much fertilizer.
