These traps have a deep red inside, which is very attractive to all kinds of insects taking a peek near this carnivorous plant. The Dionaea muscipula ‘B-52’ is a Venus fly-trap with some of the largest known traps. From its strong , long leaves grow large, bright-green traps of some 7 centimetres long. The Dionaea muscipula ‘B-52’ is easy-to-grow on a window-sill, in a greenhouse or outside in a very sunny spot but do always make sure the soil is permanently moist.
