Anthurium species 'Jungle king'

On the yellow-white flask or spadix of this Anturium miniscule flowers to bloom 'Anthosis or flowering of the spadix' The upper part of the spadix 'Or the lower' will flower first. The cells of the upper part of the spadix differ from the cells on the lower part of the spadix; a sterile zone separates the upper male and lower female flowering principles. The flowers are not clearly visible to the naked eye. Only during fertilization berries are formed on the spadix after flowering. In a living room situation this will not happen. The red bract around the spadix is actually more of a changed color than a flower petal. Anthuriums originate from the rainforests or jungles of Central and South America.

Anthurium’Jungle King’ is easy to care for. Give the plant a light spot, but not too light, and give the plant plenty of water, but not too much. Some flowering spikes may be grow with the beautiful red bracts, they can be used as cut flowers in a vase with lilies, for example, or in combination with perhaps a slightly smaller kind of white flower. They really stay beautiful for months in the vase. People can have many years of fun with this plant.
