Pleurothallis grobyi isn't hard to take care of. Due to the widespread habitat the orchid can be kept at a temperature between 14⁰C and 22⁰C. Temperatures below 10⁰C and above 30⁰C can be too much for the orchid. The humidity should be around 80%. In contrast to many other orchids, this one flourishes in a spot with a lot of shade. Water Pleurothallis grobyi every week and spray daily with a light sprinkle from a plant spray. Use rainwater or distilled water to prevent the accumulation of minerals in the roots. Proper airflow combined with a proper humidity will help prevent infections and disease. Pleurothallis grobyi can be kept in a pot with orchid-mix or attached to a piece of bark of wood. You can find this and other components in our ‘Plant Accessories’ section. You can add plant nutrition when needed. Old flower stems can be cut from the plant.
