Begonia foliosa is a shrub-like plant which grows up to about 60 centimeters. This Begonia is ideal in a larger terrarium with for example tree frogs or small to medium-sized lizards.
Plant careBegonia foliosa var. miniata fits well in a terrarium 'Medium' light and warmth, and high humidity'. As a house plant its soil should be kept slightly moist. It is preferable to give it lukewarm water. Don'T rotate the Begonia if it'S in the windowsill as the delicate stalk may break as the flower tries to reorient towards the sunlight.
