Plant care

Araeococcus micranthus prefers a spot with lots of light, but should be kept out of direct sunlight. Keep the plant's roots moist, but avoid stagnant water. It is best to generously water the plant twice a week and then let the soil go mostly dry. Mist the plant with water to create a high humidity; this bromeliad can also absorb water using its leaves. Pour a bit of water in the middle of the plant, it will remain there in the tube created by the leaves. When the plant isn't growing in the winter, it needs less water than in the growing season. The ambient temperature should be kept between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. It is best to keep Araeococcus micranthusin in a soil with few nutrients. This Araflora plant is for decorative purposes and is unsuitable for consumption. The plantcare symbols below will give you an additional information about the product care.
