Schoenorchis micrantha grows in the wild on the islands Vanuatu, Java, Borneo, the Philippines, Samoa, Fiji, the Solomon islands and in Northern Australia, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Vietnam and Malaysia. The orchid is found at altitudes between 50 and 1.500 meters on tree branches in humid forests, mostly around rivers and flowing water. Schoenorchis micrantha has white fragrant flowers of around 2 centimetre, with thirty at a time growing from the flower stems. These grow in between the flower strands, have a green colour with a white haze en reach around 10 centimetre.
