Product infoLudisia discolor grows in Indonesia, among other places, at an altitude of 500 to 1000 m. The plant is used to tropical temperatures (22-28°C at night). The most striking thing about the orchid is the veined dark green leaf, which feels velvety soft. The veins can be pink or silvery white in color. This is in contrast to the slightly fragrant flowers, which are always white with a yellow accent in the middle.
Plant careIn its natural habitat, the Ludisia discolor grows in shady places in misty forests. Although the temperature is tropical there, the orchid is used to little light. The plant can grow in the soil as well as on rock, as long as it is near water. Offer the plant sufficient shade and a high humidity level. The orchid grows best at an average night temperature of 22-28°C, average daily temperatures should be 5°C higher.
