It is best to include add a few pebbles at the bottom of the pot so water can drain away easily. Huperzia nummulariifolia needs plenty of light but must not be exposed to direct sunlight or fierce bright light. Plants require a high level of humidity at a temperature between 15⁰ C and 30⁰ C. The best substrate consists of peat or sphagnum moss. A moderate amount of fertiliser will promote the plant’s growth. Good air circulation will protect Huperzia nummulariifolia from infection.
