Product infoThis Drosera originates from South Africa, and grows in the winter: during the hot summer months it wilts and dies completely above ground, and then grows back from its fleshy roots during the colder months. When this exotic plant gets enough light, its colour changes to a beautiful red.
Plant careThe Drosera alba grows best in a deep pot with a sand-peat mixture. Make sure that the substrate for this plant is always moist, by placing the pot in a dish of water during the growing period. In the summer, the pot can be left slightly moist to dry. When exposed to enough light, the Drosera alba will get a nice deep red colour. In the summer, the plant will die above ground, but by wintertime it will grow back.
