Alocasia lutea

Alocasia lutea is also known as the Giant Elephant Ear plant. It can become a gigantic tropical plant with huge green leaves with golden yellow stems and veins. The color of the leaves will lighten slightly as the plant gets older. It can reach a maximum height of 2-3 meters indoors with good care and plenty of space. The plant can also flower when it is a bit older and that happens from January to December. The care is easy: full sun or partial shade is tolerated, rich and moist but well-drained soil. A must and eye-catcher for every real Urban Jungle collection!
