Bulbophyllum carunculatum prefers temperatures around 25⁰C. Make sure the temperature doesn't drop below 15⁰C or rise above 30⁰C. A humidity around 80% is important. It's best to keep this orchid in a light spot, while avoiding direct sunlight. Water Bulbophyllum carunculatum when its substrate is slightly dry. Use rainwater or distilled water to prevent the build-up of minerals in the rhizome. In practice this will mean watering three to five times a week. A proper airflow is needed to keep diseases and infection at bay. You can use orchid-mix as substrate. You can find this and other components in our ‘Plant Accessories’ section. Make sure moisture is able to drain from it. Old flowers can be cut off.
