Venus flytrap 'Dionaea muscipula 'Mars' starter'

The Dionaea muscipula ‘Mars’ ‘Starter’ is a young plant of this Venus fly-trap mutant species which has been potted in a small 5-centimetre container. Araflora has herself selected the Dionaea muscipula ‘Mars’ ‘Starter’ with its extraterrestrial characteristics for further cultivation. You see the Dionaea muscipula ‘Mars’ ‘Starter’ is a Venus fly-trap mutant with exceptionally thin traps which gradually change into stalks. Its teeth resemble a blunt saw and its traps are placed at an unusually small angle. Despite its unique characteristics the Dionaea muscipula ‘Mars’ ‘Starter’ still needs plenty of light and water like all the other Venus fly-trap mutants. Rest during the winter is an important part of its upkeep and do not panic when large parts of the plant die off during the winter season.
