Product infoThe easy-care plant, Aloë somaliensis is really special in appearance. Its thick, broad leaves have beautiful, whitish spots and a serrated edge. They grow in the shape of a coronet from the centre of the plant. When the Aloë somaliensis is in flower, the stalk of the flower also develops from that same centre. The Aloë somaliensis is native to Somalia in Africa. The Aloë somaliensis is proof against drought and thrives indoors or in a desert-like terrarium. This Araflora plant is for decoration only. Do not consume.
Plant careThe Aloë somaliensis prefers to be in a light spot but not in strong, direct sunlight. The Aloë somaliensis is proof against drought and heat. The temperature has to be between 2°Celsius [35.6°F] and 35°Celsius [95°F] to ensure full growth. During the growing season the soil may be kept constantly moist, but outside the growing season it should remain much drier. A short period without water will not harm this strong plant. The Aloë somaliensis thrives on a soil mixture with clay and leaf-mould. It needs a large container so it can really develop its roots and consequently grow into a bigger plant.
