The Tropical Pitcher Plant (Nepenthes) has more than 85 species, some of which have only been discovered in the last 5 years. Nepenthes plants are exotic typical climbing plants that grow in hazy, moss-covered woods, tropical mountains or in forests with lower altitudes. Depending on the species of Nepenthes, the pitcher can reach up to 35 centimetres. The different species of this carnivorous plant species vary in form and in size.
