Here, it grows among the shade of the forest near waterstreams. This Aroid, also called the ‘Drop Tongue’, has elongated leaves with white or mint green markings. This plant usually grows to be around 55 cm tall.
Plant careConsidering the Schismatoglottis wallichii usually grows in the shady parts of the rainforest, it is important to not place this plant in direct sunlight. Pick a darker spot in your home and make sure to keep the plant humid using a plant spray or humidifier. Keep the soil moist and don’t let it dry out in between watering. Make sure not too overwater the soil as this can cause the root of the plant to rot.
