Product infoA young plant from Araflora can grow to a height of 3 metres. The plant needs space to climb. The pitchers are light yellow mottled with red or purple. This plant can be grown in a hanging basket or in a free-standing pot. It is capable of flowering all year round, producing clusters of yellowish brown flowers.
Plant careAs with other Nepenthes species, Nepenthes talangensis requires a great deal of sunlight, but should not be positioned in full sun or it will become dehydrated. It should be given rainwater or distilled water regularly to ensure that it stays moist and sprayed with water at regular intervals. The medium and pot must ensure effective drainage to prevent the roots from rotting. The best temperature to cultivate this species is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, certainly no higher than 30 degrees. The night-time temperature needs to be around 10 degrees Celsius. If the plant becomes too big, it can be pruned. The best growing medium is neutral to slightly acidic peat. No additional feeding is required.
