Packing and shipping

Here you can read all about how your order will be send to you.

1. Dispatch and delivery – Delivery status via your email
As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email confirmation.
With the track&trace number quoted in this email you can follow the delivery status of your order step by step on the website of the postal service company.

2. Dispatch and delivery – In case you are not at home
If you are not at home when the parcel is offered for delivery, the parcel will be:

  • Delivered to your neighbours. In this case you will find a delivery receipt in your mailbox.
  • Taken back to the depot and delivered on a later date. In this case you will find a delivery receipt in your mailbox as well.

The second unsuccessful delivery attempt will result in you having to collect your parcel from the post office. You will receive notification of this in your mailbox. Bring this notification with you to the post office as proof for collection.

3. Dispatch and delivery – Transit times
Your order will be dispatched as soon as payment has been received. There is however one condition: in case of forecasted night frosts we cannot guarantee the quality of the plants during transit. In this case your order will be dispatched as soon as temperatures allow. As a rule we dispatch all items of your order in one parcel.

4. Dispatch and delivery – Postage and packaging costs
We charge € 15.00 postage and packaging costs per order. This is a set amount regardless of your order size. Any additional charges will be at our cost.

5. Dispatch and delivery – Damages or goods not received
We package your order with care. If despite this care products are damaged during transit we will replace them free of charge. In the unfortunate circumstance that you do not receive your complete order, we also replace this free of charge. Araflora stands for a clear replacement policy.

6. Dispatch and delivery – Ecologically friendly packaging
We are a green mail-order company and want to impact on the environment as little as possible.  We do this by:

  • Where possible working with bio-degradable components;
  • Using recycled cardboard and paper;
  • Using re-usable plastic as packaging.

7. Dispatch and delivery - Unpacking
After receipt of goods check the package for damages. If the package is seriously damaged, immediately contact our customer service.
Check the products after opening the package. We strongly advise to remove the plants from their plastic packaging immediately and re-pot. After re-potting moisten the soil and preferably place the plant in a bright spot. More information about the care of your specific plant can be found on this site.
